Nigerian-born and North Carolina-raised, he studied Microbiology at NC State and earned his DDS at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Fayetteville VA Hospital, concentrating on implant restoration, removable and fixed prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
