Dr. Olu Oyegunwa founded and owns O2 Dental Group. Nigerian-born and North Carolina-raised, he studied Microbiology at NC State and earned his DDS at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Fayetteville VA Hospital, concentrating on implant restoration, removable and fixed prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Fifteen-plus years and a long run of implant cases later, his method hasn’t shifted: map it carefully, teach the patient what’s happening, build for the long haul, and leave a result that looks like it was always there.
