completing his advanced residency training in Greensboro, NC — giving him extensive background knowledge for his patients’
needs. Now at the O2 Dental Group in Wilmington, David takes advantage of the innovative technologies and training provided by the practice to make patients smile brighter with every checkup!
Dr. Emma Hughes
Dr. Emma Hughes grew up in New Jersey and made her way down south to attend the University of South Carolina. She continued to dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Upon graduation, she moved from one beach town to another to join O2 Dental Group of Wilmington.
Dr. Emma can usually be found on Wrightsville Beach at sunrise taking photos and surfing with her fiancé, Hunter. She also enjoys traveling to visit family and friends all over the east coast and volunteering within the community.
After a few accidents playing sports as a child, Dr. Emma made countless visits to the dentist to fix her front teeth. She also knew she had a passion for studying hard and serving those around her. It was through these personal experiences that she knew she found her calling to pursue dentistry. Now Dr. Emma focuses on comprehensive dental care and strives to ensure that each one of her patients feels completely cared for and at ease every time they sit in her dental chair.
