Born in Nigeria and raised in North Carolina, he earned his undergraduate degree in Microbiology at NC State before completing his DDS at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. His Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville focused his training in fixed and removable prosthodontics, implant placement and restoration, and oral surgery.
